calm...


it's summer!

days stretch into weeks, stretch into months... almost! i've been enjoying an unscheduled break from this space, taking life slowly and relishing the promise of the new year...

taking time for baking & nests for clothes-peg birds...

playing with buttons & making lamingtons (messy, messy)

and do you remember the lime tree?

this is our first harvest...

So happy to see you've posted, but I totally understand what you mean about this time of year. The heat of summer somehow encourages those new year reflections, too...

It's great to read a post from you. I'll have to agree with the others, the BG breakfast loaf looks divine, as good as (if not better) than his version.

I need summer to come to this side of the planet RIGHT NOW!! It's been very damp, cold and windy over here on our island, with lots of power outages and flooding!! YUCK!!
