Oh, hooray! congrats for 200 posts!!

Every year we go out to see a musical version of A Christmas Carol. It's the same every year, but it really feels like the celebration has begun.

Congrats! My mom, daughter and I go to the Nutcracker Ballet every year (we just did yesterday). We have fun and get to dress fancy. :)

It's funny how these blog posts accumulate, isn't it? I'm up, somehow, to more than 400! Anyway, congrats. You have a lovely, peaceful blog that's a joy to look at.

When I was a kid, my favorite thing to do was grab a book and sort of lie under the tree--is that weird?--and read under the glow of the lights. It was somehow magical...As an adult, hubby and I pop a bottle of champagne and decorate our house to the sound of Christmas carols. It's not that creative, but it's lovely to remember holidays past as we do it. Cheers!

Happy 200th post!

My favourite Christmas tradition is making our cards and gift tags. It's fun to try and think of a new design each year.

Those bon bons are truly lovely.
My favourite Christmas traditions are ones that I am starting to do with my little ones.
I sure had fun decorating the tree to Christmas carols this year. And I am enjoying getting a real Christmas tree too. We always had a rather cheap plastic one as a kid that lost more and more of it's "pines" every year, it was quite threadbare the last time I saw it.

Oh, and I just started making a berry tart for dessert on Christmas day a couple of years ago and it has been appearing on the table each year ever since. So I suppose that is a tradition too, albeit and unintentional one.

Those bonbons are lovely! I keep meaning to make my own - they would be so much nicer than store bought ones.

I'm just starting with Christmas traditions with my two littlies - advent calender, reading Christmas books, hand making presents. But we have cheesy traditions with my big family of plum pudding, traditional homemade custard, dorky paper crowns and daggy jokes. Then my dad will fall asleep under the tree while we'll all sit in the wading pool to keep cool. So predictable, but oh so fun.

These crackers are wonderful and well done for reaching 200, may there be many more.

One of my favourite traditions is bringing out a big basket of Christmas stories to be read each evening before bed and another is the annual Christmas screening of 'Meet Me in St Louis'.
Have a lovely Christmas!

How sweet. I love them. Umm. I have a couple of traditions...we have Christmas Eve with two of our best friends...and we always light the same candle...just once, every year...so we've been doing it for like, seven years. The other is me doing a really silly dance to Bing's Walking in a Winter Wonderland!!

What a fun day you had - as usual so lovely.

One of the things I like is that our family always opens our presents with ritual and intention and care - the wrapping and unwrapping is as important as the gift inside. It's a special time for us all to gather and appreciate the thought and care we've put into our gift making.

Congratulations on 200 posts!

Congratz for the 200th post ^_^

In Christmas, my mom and I usually make our own cookies, decorate christmas tree, and cook chicken curry. All of family member put our present under the Chritmas tree, and going to the church on Christmas night together.

The bon-bons are delightful.

Tradition - placing the angle on the top of the tree and the hanging of monogramed silver bells by me and my sister on my mom's tree. Those bells were given to us in the year of our births by our grandmother and survived a very bad house fire.

The last few years my sweetie and I have been trying to forge new traditions for our wee family. For me, a different handmade ornament each year to close ones. For the family, a big after present brunch.

These are such a delight, so simple and so beautiful.

I have great fun at this time of year studding oranges with cloves so the house fills with the warm scent of citrus and spice.

Wishing you a very happy christmas.

These are so gorgeous! I usually make homemade crackers but hadn't this year, I feel inspired to make some again thank you. My favourite holiday tradition is watching the Muppets on dvd with my family on christmas night, it started off as a joke but has become a lot of fun.

Wow those crackers are fabulous.

Our Christmas tradition is to watch the Melbourne Christmas Carols on Christmas Eve with a few drinks. We wear santa hats and wrap presents and get a little rowdy singing along.

i have been following your blog for a short while and really enjoy it! lovely to look at! we celebrate so many holiday traditions it is hard to choose. aside from the crafty ones we love i believe my favorite was started when my boys were small..(now teenagers), we spend a day after thanksgiving gathering wood and cutting greenery for the house. by the end of the day we have filled the log holders for winter and have a big fire in the fireplace. simple but it gives me a wonderful feeling of warmth and simplicity and makes the house smell good too!! now i am off tomake some of those CUTE crackers!

My Children are small 3 1/2 and 13 months. Our Holiday traditions are just starting to come to life. This year we introduced the "Holiday Elves" who would visit every few days leaving small candies and handmade wooden treasures. The magic in my sons eyes was the best holiday gift!
