friday...

I must confess that I'm struggling with this not so little blanket. It's probably something to do with the riot of colours and having to surrender to what I think should be the random nature of it {for it to have a truly vintage look and feel} In any case I'm pressing on because I'm enjoying having a little bag of crochet always at my side. I'm comforted by the rhythm of the stiches and I like the overall effect when I blur my eyes, and really overall effect is where I'm at with this one so it's all good.

Sometimes art wants to say something else than what we envisioned at the start. Enjoy the sounds of the process - ksb

oh, no no I love it. Some squares more so than others, but overall it does have a vintage look for sure. I received some japanese craft books and you really need to see one on crochet..next time we catch up perhaps. You'll be so inspired.

take care,

Your colours are very lovely. As Tiel said, some I like more than others but I guess this has to be when a not so planned look is intended.
Keep it up, it's gonna be a very beautiful blanket!

Don't give up! This crocheted rug will be stunning when you finish it. I love these projects best - not really knowing how it will look, but knowing that no one will have one like it. Ann Marie
